Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 October 2026. Controller: Ivan Suvorov, Portugal. Contact: support@seabattle.games.
Sea Battle Survive is a multiplayer naval game. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We do not show ads, we do not sell personal data and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
1. What we collect
| Data | Why | Linked to you |
|---|---|---|
| Device identifier generated by the app (guest login) | Create and restore your guest account | Yes |
| User ID and display name (our account; Apple or Game Center link if you add one) | Sign-in, matchmaking, friends, leaderboards | Yes |
| Gameplay data: matches, moves, stats, ratings, ranks, harbor and fleet state, achievements, tournament entries | Run the game, fair matchmaking, rewards, anti-cheat | Yes |
| Purchases: product, transaction identifiers, Apple receipts and notifications (we never see your card or Apple ID details) | Deliver and restore purchases, prevent fraud | Yes |
| Push notification token and language of your device | Send notifications you allowed (finished upgrades, tournament start) | Yes |
| Usage analytics (screens and actions), only if you switch it on in Settings > Account | Improve the game | Yes, only with your consent |
| Technical logs (IP address, timestamps, errors) | Security, abuse prevention, diagnostics | Short-lived |
We do not collect your contacts, precise location, photos, microphone or advertising identifier.
2. Sign in with Apple and Game Center
If you link Sign in with Apple or Game Center, we receive the identifier Apple provides for that service (and the name or email you choose to share) to connect the account. We use it only to sign you in.
3. How we use data
To operate the game and its servers, match you with other players, rank and reward you, process purchases, send notifications you enabled, keep the service safe, and comply with law. Our legal bases (where GDPR applies): performance of the contract, legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention), consent (analytics, push), and legal obligation.
4. Sharing
Other players see your display name, rank and match results. We use infrastructure and service providers (Hetzner Online GmbH; Apple for sign-in, purchases and push) who process data on our behalf. We may disclose data if required by law. We do not sell data and do not share it for advertising.
5. Retention
We keep account data while your account exists. Technical logs are kept for 30 days. When you delete your account, personal data is erased (section 6); records of matches you played with others are kept without your identity (your user ID is replaced by a random pseudonym).
6. Your choices and rights
- Export: Settings > Account > Export my data gives you a machine-readable copy.
- Delete: Settings > Account > Delete account, confirmed with a one-time token. It removes your profile, wallet, progress, friends, leaderboard entries, purchases records, push tokens and sessions. Purchases already made with Apple remain on Apple's side; the transaction stays unusable by other accounts.
- Analytics and notifications can be turned off at any time in Settings or in iOS settings.
- Depending on where you live (EU/UK GDPR, California, Brazil LGPD and others) you may also have the right to access, correct, restrict or object, and to complain to your data protection authority. Write to support@seabattle.games.
7. Children
The game is not directed to children under 13 (under 16 where local law requires). We do not knowingly collect their data; contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security and transfers
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored on servers in Germany (EU). If you are outside that region your data is transferred there, protected by appropriate safeguards where the law requires them.
9. Changes and contact
We will publish changes here and update the date above; material changes will also be announced in the app. Questions: support@seabattle.games.
